About The Position

The Peds/Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN supports ground transportation needs in the Seattle area. Working with a transportation team that includes a respiratory therapist and an advanced practice provider, the RN transports infants and pediatric patients from surrounding hospitals, emergency rooms, and labor and delivery or neonatal intensive care units to Swedish First Hill for a higher level of care. The role may also float to provide bedside nursing coverage in the NICU, PICU, or pediatric units.

Requirements

• Experience in ground transportation.
• BLS certification.
• NRP certification.
• PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport infants and pediatric patients by ground from surrounding hospitals, emergency rooms, and labor and delivery or NICU settings to Swedish First Hill for a higher level of care.
• Work as part of the transportation team with a respiratory therapist and an advanced practice provider.
• Float to provide bedside nursing coverage in the NICU, PICU, or pediatric units when needed.
