Pediatrics (RN) Weekend Program
About The Position
Bryn Mawr Hospital is seeking a dedicated Pediatrics Registered Nurse to join their Weekend Program. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a 14-bed pediatric unit, providing care for patients from infants to 18 years of age. The unit is a non-intensive care unit supported by CHOP physicians. The position offers opportunities for professional development through MLH Education & Development Classes, ongoing feedback, and career development support from management. Employees are encouraged to get involved in hospital and system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, research projects, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements
- One year(s) of recent acute care pediatric experience required.
- RN Diploma, ASN required.
- PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
- PALS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Two plus years of acute pediatric experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team within the 14-bed pediatric unit.
- Provide care and treatment for patients from infants to 18 years of age.
- Participate in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
