Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills; experience with an EMR system preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Must be comfortable interacting with children of all ages and their parents/guardians

Nice To Haves

• Previous medical receptionist, pediatric office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families warmly and professionally
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Collect copays and payments
• Handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Communicate effectively with parents, providers, nurses, and staff
• Follow HIPAA/OSHA guidelines, MMC policies, and maintain a clean work area
• Perform other assigned duties as instructed
