About The Position
Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum, is seeking a Pediatrician to join its team in Auburn, Massachusetts, at 0.7 to 1.0 FTE. The physician will practice in an ambulatory setting as part of a collegial, clinician-led group with a large referral base, dedicated support staff, practice management systems, and facilities designed for team-based care. The role includes access to an on-site pediatric extended care team comprising a behavioral health provider, medical social worker, and nurse care coordinator, as well as a TeleDerm extended care team. Student and resident teaching opportunities are available. Optum provides clinical resources and organizational support, and emphasizes autonomous practice, quality-based compensation, and collaboration with primary care. Reliant is a community-based, multi-specialty medical group serving Central and Boston Metro-west Massachusetts, with integrated care teams focused on patient care, quality, cost, and experience. The organization offers outpatient primary care and more than 30 specialties.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in General Pediatrics, with ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to obtain an unlimited Massachusetts medical license, or eligibility to do so.
- Ability to obtain an active DEA license.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric care in an ambulatory setting.
- Partner with primary care and collaborate with the practice's care teams.
- Practice autonomously and at the top of the physician's license.
- Participate in student and resident teaching opportunities, as available.
