About The Position

HealthPlus Staffing is assisting an established healthcare organization in the Sierra Foothills of California with the recruitment of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician. This is a primarily outpatient position offering a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, a light call rotation, and an established pediatric team. The position is primarily outpatient with limited newborn responsibilities. You'll work collaboratively with Pediatricians, OB/GYN physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, experienced nursery staff, and regional children's hospitals.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for California medical licensure
• Comfortable with outpatient pediatrics and newborn care

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient pediatric care
• Limited newborn responsibilities
• Participate in a 1:5 call rotation
• Round in the newborn nursery
• Attend high-risk deliveries when required
• Provide infrequent Emergency Department consults
• No pediatric inpatient admissions
