About The Position
We are seeking a Physician specializing in Pediatrics for a Locum Tenens position in Milton, FL. This inpatient role requires 24-hour call coverage from November 21 to December 31, 2026, specifically covering maternity/paternity leave. The position involves daily rounding on newborns, managing pediatric patient consults, and phone calls. The physician will utilize the Cerner EMR system and work alongside 2 RNs. Orientation is required the day prior to the first shift.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active FL License
- PALS Certification
- Experience in IP pediatric rounding preferred
Nice To Haves
- Suturing minor lacerations
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for pediatric services.
- Perform daily inpatient rounding on newborns.
- Manage pediatric patient consults and phone calls.
- Cover specified holiday periods as needed.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation.
