About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician to join a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Houston, Texas. The organization provides high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services to children and families throughout the community and emphasizes collaboration, work-life balance, quality care, and professional growth.

The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, seeing 20 or more patients per day. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no evenings or weekends. The position is outpatient only.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active Texas Medical License or ability to obtain one.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one.
• Commitment to serving diverse and underserved patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care services.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct well-child exams and preventive care visits.
• Administer immunizations and developmental screenings.
• Educate patients and families on health and wellness.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using eClinicalWorks (eCW).
