About The Position

Oregon Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Pediatrician to join their growing Pediatrics team in Eugene, OR. This role is part of the Optum Care Delivery team, contributing to the vision of making healthcare better for everyone. The position offers a highly collaborative pediatric team environment where physicians support each other, prioritize patient care, and benefit from the stability of a well-established practice with strong mentorship and long-term growth opportunities. The role is 100% outpatient general pediatrics, caring for patients from newborn through age 23. It features a four-day work week, flexible FTE opportunities (0.75-1.0 FTE), an average of 20 patients per day, and minimal phone-only call with no inpatient responsibilities or hospital rounding. Providers will have dedicated MA support, RN triage, pharmacist, and care management resources. The practice utilizes Epic EMR with DAX AI-powered documentation support.

Requirements

MD or DO degree
Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
Oregon medical license and DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start
Current BLS certification
