About The Position
The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Pediatrician to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, Iowa! A community health center (FQHC) is the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations. With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa
Responsibilities
- Provide care at a community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, Iowa.
- See an average of 12-18 patients per day.
- Participate in a light call schedule with 1:7 nights/weekends.
- Work within clinic hours: Mon, Tues, Fri 8am-5pm & Wed, Thur 8am-8pm.
- Schedule flexibly within clinic hours with 1 evening per week.
