Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Pediatrics/Pediatric Hospitalist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: May 9 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Thu/Fri; 8a-5p • Call Schedule: Nights & weekends - approx. 10 days per month • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 30 mins • Phone Consults: Minimal • Patient Volume: 2 • Admissions: 2 • Rounding Included: Yes • Physician in Practice: Available; full-time local in-office pediatrician. • 24-hr Support Services: - Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Cath Lab, General Surgery, Lab, Neuro-Surgery, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology & Vascular Surgery. • Support Staff: Front office staff, dedicated medical assistant & dedicated office manager. • Required Procedures: - IP with PICU, Attend C-sections/high risk - Non-invasive vent mgmt (bipap/cpap) - Ventilation mgmt (newborn): acute - Intubation (ENT/INT): newborn - Circumcision (type) • Lab & X-ray Onsite: Yes in the hospital • Beds in the Dept: 8 • Nursery Level: I • EMR: Athena (clinic), Medhost (hospital) • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
