About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a Locum Tenens position in Hobbs, NM. This inpatient role involves providing call-only coverage for newborns and children, managing acute and chronic conditions, and performing procedures such as intubation and central line placements. The coverage period is from October 8, 2026, to October 20, 2026, with a 24-hour beeper call schedule. The facility has 60 beds, including 8 ICU beds, and uses the Epic EMR system. The average daily patient volume is 5.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)
- Licensed in New Mexico
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- ATLS certification
- PALS certification
