About The Position

The Pediatric Therapy Technician supports licensed therapists by assisting with the delivery of therapy services to pediatric clients under direct supervision. This role helps prepare treatment areas, facilitate therapy activities, maintain a safe and engaging environment, and support daily clinic operations. The Therapy Technician plays an important role in enhancing the effectiveness of therapy sessions while promoting positive experiences for children and families and adhering to organizational policies and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of licensed therapists
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic organizational skills and attention to detail
Coursework or interest in healthcare, child development, psychology, or related fields
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or healthcare setting
Experience in a pediatric therapy or clinical environment
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Assist licensed therapists during therapy sessions by preparing materials and supporting therapeutic activities under supervision
Engage pediatric clients in therapy activities as directed by the supervising therapist
Set up, clean, and maintain therapy spaces, equipment, and materials
Support child safety and supervision during therapy sessions and transitions
Follow treatment plans and therapist instructions accurately and consistently
Observe and report client responses or concerns to supervising therapists
Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment
Adhere to all health, safety, confidentiality, and organizational policies
Provide positive, professional interactions with children, families, and staff
