About The Position

Palm Beach Children's Hospital is building an ACS-verified pediatric surgical program with the infrastructure, subspecialty depth, and institutional backing to support a comprehensive practice. The role offers a full scope of practice from day one, spanning neonatal surgery, pediatric oncology, and advanced minimally invasive procedures. The position is supported by a Level III NICU, regional PICU, COG Program, and an internationally recognized orthopedic institute for congenital deformities. The physician will collaborate with a robust team of pediatric subspecialists in a high-volume, high-acuity environment. Tenet Health's in-house marketing and business development resources will support program growth.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery
Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continued learning

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

Full-time pediatric surgery opportunity serving premature newborns through adolescents up to age 18
Broad operative scope encompassing cervical, thoracic, and abdominal procedures across respiratory, digestive, biliary, genitourinary, and dermatologic systems
High-volume, multidisciplinary practice within an ACS-verified children's hospital
Work within a Level III NICU and high-risk obstetrics program with approximately 3,000 deliveries per year
Collaborate with a regional PICU and Children's Oncology Group (COG) Program on site
Engage with an internationally renowned orthopedic institute for congenital deformities
Participate in a dedicated outpatient clinic component
Collaborate with a team of pediatric subspecialists including Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Hematology/Oncology, and Cardiology
Work with well-established support staff including Advanced Practice Providers
