About The Position

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are responsible for providing appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, plan of care, and therapeutic interventions in the areas of speech and language, voice, fluency, social communication, and feeding/swallowing. The SLP will work directly with patients, their families, and collaborate with healthcare providers and other professionals in providing education, counseling, and facilitation of additional care/intervention as needed. Additionally, pediatric SLPs provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and or language comprehension disorders.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an approved school of speech/language pathology.
Current State Licensure in Speech Pathology (as Speech Pathologist).
BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge of principals and practice of speech pathology.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working as a Speech Pathologist.
Certificate of competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
