About The Position

Pediatric Respiratory Therapists on Respire’s Complex Pediatrics team provide skilled, hands-on respiratory care to medically complex children in their homes. The role combines clinical expertise with warmth and empathy, supporting families as they manage complex care and helping caregivers feel confident and supported. Therapists manage ventilator, tracheostomy, and complex airway care and serve as a primary clinical contact for families, so communication and teaching skills are important alongside technical expertise. The therapist works closely with the Pediatric Care Navigator, Social Worker/Case Manager, and Pediatric Logistics Specialist to provide coordinated support. The role reports to the Senior Clinical Manager, Pediatric Respiratory Care, who supports onboarding, competency development, and the therapist’s path to RRT-NPS certification within the first six months.
