This is a full-time, 100% remote Registered Nurse position within the Patient Access and Care Team. The role involves utilizing the nursing process and established protocols to assess patients telephonically, determine the appropriate level of care, provide education, establish a plan of care, and communicate follow-up instructions. The nurse will escalate care when needed, prioritize patient interactions by acuity, and apply evidence-based practice to ensure patient safety. Collaboration with the healthcare team, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and professional development are key aspects of this role. The position requires strong critical thinking, communication, and technology skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The nurse must be able to provide age-appropriate care and accurately maintain patient records in the Electronic Medical Record.
