About The Position
Wolfson Children’s Hospital is hiring a Pediatric Rehab Technician to join the Outpatient Rehab Team. This is a Part-Time position located at the Wolfson North Rehab Clinic near the Jacksonville International Airport. We are currently looking for a pediatric Rehab Technician to support our rehabilitation services team in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists in delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or higher) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required
- Level II Background check (fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 or more year(s) Outpatient Rehab Technician experience strongly preferred
- Patient care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care.
- Transporting patient to/from treatments.
- Assisting PT/OT/ST with patient treatments.
- Clerical duties and maintenance.
- Cleaning and sanitation of work area.
