About The Position

Shriners Children's is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Unit. This is a full-time night shift position working 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. The Inpatient RN is responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care within a collaborative, family-centered environment. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and the continuum of care to meet patient and family needs. This position also involves leadership through informal and formal leadership roles, precepting, and quality improvement efforts. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, and the incumbent may perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

RN in state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
2 years' experience in acute care nursing
Bilingual English/Spanish
