About The Position

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a flexible Radiology Technologist for their imaging team. This position offers PRN (as needed) scheduling and cross-training opportunities. The hospital is recognized as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology and is a top-ranked children's hospital. The Radiology Technologist will perform general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes.

Requirements

• Associate or Trade School Equivalent education.
• No experience required.
• No supervisor experience required.
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI.
• Radiology Technologist - Reg certification.

Nice To Haves

• Less than 2 years of experience.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
