About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Pulmonologist for a Locum Tenens position in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology services, including patient rounding, performing bronchoscopies, and managing ICU consultations. The position requires covering 24-hour in-house call during assigned weeks, which includes weeknights and weekends, as well as handling an average of 4 phone consults per day. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with a commitment of one week per month, Monday through Friday, during day shifts.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC) Required
- Licensed in PA or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA Required
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Fellowship Required
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology services, including rounding on patients
- Perform bronchoscopies as needed
- Cover 24-hour in-house call during assigned weeks, including weeknight and weekend call
- Provide ICU consultations as required
- Manage phone consults (average 4 per day)
