About The Position

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Pediatric Psychologist to join our expanding Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team within Dayton Children's Pediatrics. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a fully integrated primary care setting, partnering with pediatricians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver timely, accessible, and family-centered behavioral health services. As a key member of the care team, the psychologist will provide same-day consultation, brief assessment, and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents experiencing developmental, behavioral, emotional, and parenting concerns. The role also includes participation in integrated well-child visits, helping identify behavioral health needs early, promote prevention, and connect families with appropriate resources. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care while also contributing to the continued growth of integrated behavioral health services. Additional opportunities include program development, quality improvement initiatives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical education and training.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist in the State of Ohio
  • Strong commitment to collaborative, team-based care and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pediatric psychology, primary care, and/or integrated behavioral health
