About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Pediatric Primary Care Physician to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center serving Brooklyn and Staten Island, with an academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. This role involves caring for patients in the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Services, referring patients to specialty clinics, serving as a consultant for referred patients, coordinating specialist care, and supervising Residents and Nurse Practitioners. The physician will be responsible for the quality of care provided.

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
Active or eligible for a New York State Medical License

Responsibilities

Care for patients in the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Services and assigned areas.
Refer the patient to the specialty and subspeciality clinics as indicated and coordinate the care provided by the specialists.
Serve as a consultant for patients referred by other physicians in community and health centers and will coordinate the care of specialists, as needed.
Supervise the work of the Residents, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians assigned to work with them.
Responsible for the quality of care.
