About The Position

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join one of our practices in Tampa, Florida. Our team of highly qualified Board-Certified Pediatricians and experienced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. Founded in 1955 in Florida, it is a physician-led, patient-centric network offering comprehensive services. This position supports our Clearwater location and is J1 Eligible. Spanish-speaking is preferred. The role includes outpatient care and newborn rounding, offering the opportunity to follow patients from day one and build lasting relationships with families.

Requirements

  • Physician M.D. or D.O. degree required
  • Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
