About The Position
Evaluate, diagnose, treat, provide consultation and care to pediatric patients presenting with general medical problems and chronic medical conditions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.
- Board certified by the applicable ABMS Board or active participant in the examination process leading to certification in Pediatrics and area of sub-specialty (if any).
- Recertifies at appropriate intervals per specialty board requirements.
- Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington.
- Maintains current DEA registration.
- Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff, which necessitates staying current on required certifications, including but not limited to Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of pediatric medicine experience preferred.
