About The Position

About the Role Timber Lane Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric PA or NP to join our established team. We offer a high-autonomy environment where you will deliver family-focused care, from health promotion and disease prevention to direct clinical management of pediatric patients. We are a certified medical home. This is a full-time position consisting of 4 weekdays per week, allowing for an excellent work-life balance in beautiful Vermont. Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Vermont State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Pediatric Focus: Experience or a strong interest in pediatric specialty care.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate demeanor with all families and visitors.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, and state protocols.
  • Coping Skills: Ability to effectively manage typical job stress in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care: Conduct physical exams and diagnostic tests for pediatric patients; manage both acute and chronic pediatric illnesses.
  • Diagnosis & Planning: Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans; prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Family Education: Guide parents and patients on disease prevention, immunizations, and healthy lifestyle habits.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our Physician Manager and office staff to coordinate specialized services and referrals.
  • Documentation: Maintain high standards in our EHR, ensuring visit notes are completed and accepted within seven days of the encounter.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in continuous QI projects to improve healthcare delivery for our clients.
