About The Position
Pediatric Partners is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy services for children and families across the DFW area. This role offers flexibility, meaningful pediatric work, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact without being tied to a traditional clinic schedule. Our physical therapists help children build strength, mobility, confidence, and independence in their everyday environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program, DPT or equivalent
- Active Physical Therapy license in Texas
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
- A compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented approach to care
- Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered therapy
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Home health experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities
- Provide direct physical therapy services in the home setting
- Support gross motor development, mobility, strength, coordination, balance, motor planning, and functional movement
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to help children achieve meaningful outcomes
- Recommend adaptive equipment or assistive devices when appropriate and train families on proper use in daily routines
- Partner closely with parents and caregivers to support carryover between visits
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports
