We are seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment services to pediatric clients in an outpatient setting. This position offers a consistent schedule of approximately 15-20 hours per week, with availability needed: Monday–Thursday: Starting at 2:00 PM or later, Friday: Morning availability. The physical therapist is a member of the interdisciplinary team whose focus is on the promotion of optimal health and functioning for the pediatric population. The physical therapist assesses the foundational motor skills required for enhanced aerobic capacity, endurance, balance, strength, coordination, timing, and functional mobility of the pediatric client. The physical therapist customizes unique and individual interventions for the establishment, remediation, or restoration of functional mobility and health. They identify the need for environmental adaptations, adaptive equipment and orthotics for the promotion of safety and function in the home and community. The part-time Physical Therapist provides high-quality pediatric physical therapy services on a reduced schedule while maintaining the same standards of clinical excellence, documentation, communication and client-centered care as a full-time staff.
