About The Position
Therapitas is a nonprofit that has served Spanish-speaking families in Oklahoma since 2015 with one mission: ensuring Spanish-speaking children have the same access to quality therapy as any other child. We’re hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team in Oklahoma City. Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required. We provide trained interpreter support. And for those who want to learn: we'll provide Spanish lessons or send you to Antigua, Guatemala.
Requirements
- DPT or PT degree from an accredited program
- Oklahoma PT license or eligibility to obtain
- New grads and upcoming board exam candidates welcome
- Passion for working with children and families
- Mission-driven approach to care
Nice To Haves
- Spanish fluency is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients
- Provide skilled intervention to improve strength, mobility, motor development, and functional independence
- Document services in our easy-to-use EMR to meet clinical standards and payer requirements
- Collaborate with OTs, SLPs, and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy students
