The Department of Otorhinolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for board certified or board eligible, full-time, academic Pediatric Otolaryngologist concentrated on the full spectrum of pediatric otolaryngologic conditions including airway disorders in infants and children. Aerodigestive and voice experience are desirable. The Department of Otorhinolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Otolaryngologist. The ideal candidate will have the skill set to manage the full spectrum of pediatric otolaryngologic conditions, including airway disorders in infants and children. Aerodigestive and voice experience are desirable. The University of Maryland Medical Center has a large level IV neonatal intensive care unit that provides significant clinical opportunities. The clinical practice comprises urban and suburban practice locations. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in pediatric otolaryngologists and eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland. This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience. Expected Compensation Range: $350,000 to $450,000, depending on rank and experience. The referenced compensation range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the department faculty compensation program or pay from participation in department variable compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For more information, please contact the hiring department. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
