About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Pediatric Otolaryngologist (ENT) in Newberg, OR. The role involves both clinical and call coverage in outpatient and inpatient settings. The physician will manage a daily volume of approximately 10 patients, providing comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology care. Duties include consultations, follow-ups, surgical cases, NICU airway evaluations, and documentation in the Epic EMR system. The position requires participation in nightly and weekend beeper call.

Requirements

BC Certified
Active Oregon medical license
DEA Required
BLS Certification
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Must be willing to obtain privileges at Providence Newberg Medical Center (call only) and Providence St. Vincent (clinic and call)
General Otolaryngology procedures
Surgical procedures
Endoscopic procedures
Rigid Bronchoscopy
Laryngoscopy
Rhinoplasty
Complex head and neck procedures
General head and neck procedures

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology care in clinic (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri) and surgical center (Thu)
Manage inpatient and outpatient consultations, follow-ups, and surgical cases
Take beeper call for emergency department and established patient calls via mobile app during nights and weekends
Perform NICU airway evaluations as required
Document all encounters in the Epic EMR system
