About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for a Locum Tenens position in St. Louis, MO. This inpatient role involves providing 24-hour call coverage for the pediatric emergency department and handling inpatient consults. The position requires rounding on existing pediatric orthopedic patients and responding to calls within 30 minutes. Coverage is limited to a maximum of 2 shifts per month and up to 10 shifts per year. The physician will utilize the Epic EMR system for all documentation and patient management. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered by the vendor.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- MO or IMLC License
- BLS Certification
- ATLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- Ability to perform Arthroscopy
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hand procedures
- Experience with Tendon Release/Repair
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for pediatric emergency department and inpatient consults
