Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. About Inova Children’s Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital is Northern Virginia’s only dedicated children’s hospital and serves as a regional destination for comprehensive, family-centered pediatric care. Located on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, the nationally recognized 241-bed children’s hospital provides advanced care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents across more than 45 pediatric specialties. Inova Children’s offers some of the region’s largest and most comprehensive programs, including nationally recognized programs in cardiology and cardiac surgery, neonatology, gastroenterology and pulmonary care. Level 1 Trauma Care 108-Bed Level IV NICU Pediatric Cardiac ICU & Pediatric ICU Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit Pediatric Cardiac Acute Care Unit Pediatric Medical Surgical Units with EMU Pediatric Emergency Department Pediatric Inpatient EEG, Video EEG, and EMU. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
  • successful completion of ACGME accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program
  • successful completion of Pediatric Orthopedic fellowship.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
  • Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
  • Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
  • Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
