About The Position

Family of Kidz is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to work with children aged Birth-5 years. The role involves providing therapeutic interventions in state-of-the-art sensory gyms and/or preschools across Westchester County, NY. This position offers a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment with active cases and a minimum of 10 hours per week. The company has been helping children with special needs since 1998, focusing on independence and enhanced quality of life.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy
Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
Passionate to work with children and their families
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
