About The Position

Arbor Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (1099 Contractor) to join their collaborative, multidisciplinary team at their Mesa clinic. This role focuses on helping children build independence, confidence, and life skills through compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive outpatient pediatric setting. The clinic serves children and families in the East and West Valley of Phoenix, with a growing AAC program, and is particularly interested in therapists passionate about supporting communication innovatively.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Interest or experience in early intervention and developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for ongoing learning and professional growth

Nice To Haves

• Experience or interest in feeding therapy
• Experience with AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
• Bilingual skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat fine motor, sensory, feeding, and activities of daily living
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Monitor client progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support progress at home
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including Speech-Language Pathologists and Physical Therapists
• Complete timely and concise documentation
