Pediatric Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Ivy Health is seeking an outpatient pediatric occupational therapist in Glen Allen, Virginia. The clinician will work with children from birth to age 21, providing individualized, one-to-one care and customized plans of care. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can apply skills and home exercises in children’s daily lives. The role offers multidisciplinary collaboration, mentorship, clinical autonomy, and opportunities to grow according to the clinician’s interests and expertise. The team provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis services. The listed schedule is 30 hours per week and qualifies for full benefits.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current or pending licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the respective state.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy to pediatric patients from birth through age 21.
- Provide individualized, one-to-one attention and customized plans of care.
- Encourage parents and caregivers to attend sessions and carry skills and home exercises into the child’s daily life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates to support patient care and outcomes.
