About The Position

THERAPY 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join its Austin Division, primarily serving the Elgin and Manor area. The organization provides compassionate, home-based pediatric therapy services to Texas families. The role supports children in developing skills for everyday activities, including play, self-care, fine motor tasks, and daily routines, through individualized, family-centered therapy in the home. The therapist also empowers families with strategies to support children beyond therapy sessions. The position offers a diverse clinical experience working with families from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including bilingual and Spanish-speaking households. Team resources and support are available to help clinicians navigate these interactions and develop culturally responsive practices. The team emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, clinical skill development, and professional growth. Interested therapists may participate in a structured, apprenticeship-style Clinical Feeding Mentorship Pathway. Training is guided by Clinical Feeding Specialists, who assess skill level through observation and a Knowledge & Skills Checklist. Support may include shadowing, co-treatments, live documentation coaching, and a gradual transition to independent feeding cases based on experience and patient complexity.
