About The Position

Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to help children build confidence through meaningful, play-based experiences. The role involves working with children to develop essential life skills such as dressing, handwriting, eating, and social interaction. Therapists will collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists and Physical Therapists, and may also provide Early Intervention services through in-home visits or telehealth. The position emphasizes a creative, child-centered approach where therapy can occur in various settings and activities, fostering a safe, engaged, and connected environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting therapy sessions that may involve obstacle courses to improve motor planning.
  • Exploring sensory strategies to help children participate in activities.
  • Coaching parents on incorporating therapeutic activities into daily routines.
  • Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologists and Physical Therapists.
  • Providing Early Intervention services through in-home visits or telehealth for children aged birth to three.
  • Developing individualized, play-based treatment plans.
  • Partnering closely with families and caregivers.
