About The Position

RISE Pediatric Therapies is a growing organization that provides support to families of children birth to 18 years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs. We help families build on their child’s strengths while enhancing and promoting the child’s growth, development, and learning skills in the home or clinic setting. We are seeking Occupational Therapists to join our team as independent contractors. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to provide meaningful, family-centered care in both clinic and community settings. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy services for children birth to 18 years of age, with the majority of clients ranging from 3–18 years old. Services are provided in collaboration with the child’s family, medical providers, and other community representatives. Therapy services may be conducted in natural environments such as the child’s home, daycare, park, or community setting, as well as within our fully equipped pediatric clinics located in Mesa and Surprise. Providers have the flexibility to set their own schedule and hours, choose the geographic area they would like to serve for home/community visits, and provide clinic-based services in Mesa or Surprise. They can also schedule intensive therapy sessions when clinically indicated and recommended. Our pediatric clinics are fully equipped to support a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including a Universal Exercise Unit (UEU) LiteGait system, adaptive equipment and DME, sensory-motor and therapeutic toys, functional pediatric therapy equipment, DMI equipment, and Functional Electrical Stimulation.
