About The Position

Pediatric Partners is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide in-home therapy services for children and families across the DFW area. This role offers flexibility, meaningful pediatric work, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact without being tied to a traditional clinic schedule. Our occupational therapists help children build confidence, independence, daily living skills, and functional participation in their everyday environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Home health experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families
  • A compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented approach to care
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered therapy

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in the home setting
  • Support skill development related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding, play, self-care, daily routines, and functional independence
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to help children achieve meaningful outcomes
  • Recommend adaptive equipment or assistive devices when appropriate and train families on proper use in daily routines
  • Partner closely with parents and caregivers to support carryover between visits
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child-centered care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports
