About The Position

Pediatric Partners is seeking a PRN Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support children and families in Southeast Dallas. This role offers ready-to-go pediatric caseloads and flexible scheduling, allowing therapists to help children build confidence, independence, and everyday skills in their natural environments. The position emphasizes family-centered care and collaboration within a supportive team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with positioning, transfers, and therapeutic activities as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Home health experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with children and families.
• A detail-oriented, compassionate, and dependable approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in the home setting.
• Support skill development across daily routines, including self-care, play, fine motor, sensory, motor planning, and functional participation.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to support meaningful outcomes.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train families on how to use strategies in everyday life.
• Partner closely with parents and caregivers to encourage carryover between visits.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports.
