Requirements

• Occupational Therapist with a current Kentucky OT license and NBCOT certification or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a current Kentucky occupational therapy assistant license and NBCOT certification as a COTA
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• For the COTA role, a minimum of two years experience as a certified COTA

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred for COTA role
• Feeding experience is a plus, whether that is oral motor treatment, sensory-based feeding, texture and food progression, tube weaning, or work with infants and medically complex children
• Training in a feeding approach such as SOS, Beckman, Talk Tools, food chaining, or TOTS is a plus
• Experience with, or interest in learning, telehealth
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with children ages 0 to 21 across a range of diagnoses, evaluating and treating as an OT or carrying out the plan of care under a supervising OT as a COTA
• Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team
• Communicate clearly with your team, with families, and in your documentation
• Coach parents through home carryover programs
