About The Position

As an outpatient pediatric clinician, you will have the chance to work with many children from birth to age twenty-one. Our teammates are dedicated to the treatment of our young patients, providing individualized one-to-one attention and customized plans of care to meet your child’s needs. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Fellow at Ivy Rehab for Kids, you will be a full-time teammate as you complete the Ivy Rehab Pediatric Fellowship Program. You have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of pediatric patients. Our treatment approach emphasizes personalized care that allows for flexibility in creating individualized plans of care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist Master’s Program
• Active OT licensure in current state of practice, prior to Fellowship start date
• Employed as a Full-time Therapist for at least 3 months by Ivy Rehab Network, prior to the program start date.
• Required membership in associated professional organization by the start of the residency
• Commitment to successfully completing all program requirements including independent study
• Commitment to taking the AOTA Board Certification in Pediatrics (BCP) exam at earliest eligibility
• Commitment to a minimum of two years of continued employment at Ivy Rehab, post-graduation from program

Responsibilities

• Complete all required didactic modules (300+ hours)
• Complete all assessments, logs and forms
• Complete Live Patient Examinations
• Satisfactory completion of all skills lists
• Passing of all required quizzes
• Satisfactory completion of required presentations
• Optional completion of case report abstract
• Completion of 100 hours of 1:1 Mentorship
• Complete a minimum of 1,500 patient care hours during fellowship year
• Attendance and participation in all scheduled fellowship education events
• Satisfactory achievement of all fellowship core competencies
