About The Position
Ivy Health is seeking an outpatient pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant in Ohio. The clinician works with children from birth through age 21, providing individualized, one-to-one care and customized plans. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can use learned skills and home exercises in the child’s daily life. The role is part of a multidisciplinary pediatric team offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis services. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current or pending licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the respective state.
- Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to pediatric patients from birth through age 21.
- Deliver individualized, one-to-one care and follow customized plans of care.
- Encourage parents and caregivers to participate in sessions and carry skills and home exercises into the child’s daily life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric team to support patient care and outcomes.
