About The Position
PriMED Physicians is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse (LPN or RN) for their office in Centerville. PriMED is one of Dayton’s largest and fastest growing independent medical groups, with offices throughout the Dayton area. Requirements
- Must have successfully completed an LPN or RN program
- Reliable transportation
- CPR Certification
- Must be dependable, reliable, and a good role model
- Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care and efficient patient flow
- Ability to work independently in a very fast paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Possess exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Communication and problem-solving skills necessary
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy experience
- EHR experience
Responsibilities
- Rooming and evaluating patients
- Taking patient history
- Performing evaluations such as temperature, height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, and pulse
- Administering immunizations and flu shots
- Performing venipuncture
- Performing splinting
- Performing O2 saturation checks
- Performing catheterization (cathing)
- Performing suctioning
- Performing ear irrigation
- Medical chart documentation
- Maintaining medical supplies
- Stocking rooms
- Using sterilization equipment
- Taking ownership and being accountable for actions
- Other job duties may be assigned to meet business needs
