About The Position

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our established neonatology practice in Fort Myers, Florida. The position involves providing attending coverage at Cape Coral Hospital, a Level I low-risk delivery service. Responsibilities include daily newborn nursery rounding and delivery attendance. The role offers flexible scheduling with 8- or 12-hour shifts and back-up coverage from home for added work-life balance. You will be supported by a robust, experienced team of 10 neonatologists and 10 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Golisano Children’s Hospital, which is affiliated with a state-of-the-art, 70-bed Level III NICU. Cape Coral Hospital is a community hospital within the Lee Health System, featuring a single-room maternity care model. It has a Leapfrog “A” Safety Grade and a 4-Star Baby-Friendly® Hospital designation. There is seamless collaboration with Golisano Children’s Hospital, the only children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami. Requirements

Current APRN national specialty certification as a PNP
Minimum of a master’s degree

Nice To Haves

Strong prior experience in a newborn nursery
