Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This is a full-time or part-time Nurse Practitioner position in our pediatric clinic. The work would be half clinical and half administrative. On the clinical side, they would see primarily well child visits and some acute illnesses visits. On the admin side, they would be doing some calling of lab results, coordination of referrals, and other admin duties that are typically done by an LPN or RN. They would work alongside our two full-time pediatricians. This would be a good position for someone who would be interested in something that’s not 100% clinical.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Nurse Practitioner or PA license
- Does not need to be licensed in Alaska
Responsibilities
- See primarily well child visits
- See some acute illnesses visits
- Call lab results
- Coordinate referrals
- Perform other administrative duties typically done by an LPN or RN
