About The Position

Kennebec Pediatrics, a thriving, well-established practice of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a board certified and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join their collegial team. This role involves meeting patients' medical needs through compassionate, respectful, and professional care. The team includes 8 physicians and a full complement of nursing and support staff in an outpatient setting, providing comprehensive medical care from infancy to young adulthood. The position offers 32 clinical hours with 8 hours of dedicated administrative time, no evening clinic hours, and no inpatient pediatric, Emergency Department, or newborn nursery coverage. The call rotation is 1 in 8 weekends, with after-hours on-call service from 4:50 pm to 7:45 am on weekdays and weekend call service from 2:00 pm to 9:00 am. Third-year medical students from UNE rotate through the practices. There is an opportunity to fill in as a pediatric hospitalist if desired, though not required. The area offers excellent public schools, a family-oriented culture, and quality-of-life features.

  • Board certified and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Maine State Board of Nursing
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Maine State Board of Nursing
