About The Position

Join a respected pediatric practice where you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing comprehensive outpatient care. This role combines preventive medicine, acute care, chronic disease management, and developmental monitoring within a supportive clinical environment focused on quality outcomes and continuity of care. Your day will include well-child visits, routine physicals, same-day sick appointments, immunizations, developmental screenings, and family education. You'll work closely with pediatricians and clinical staff while maintaining autonomy in patient management and treatment planning. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active Arizona NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain
  • Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP/PNP) or Physician Assistant
  • Minimum 2–3 years of pediatric clinical experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • AZ State NP/PA License (Or in process)
  • NP/PA Program Completed in USA (Not Puerto Rico)
  • 2-3 Years Experience as NP/PA in Pediatrics

  • PALS certification
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills
  • Experience in outpatient pediatric practice
  • Familiarity with pediatric preventive care and immunization schedules
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive well-child examinations and annual physicals
  • Diagnose and manage acute pediatric illnesses and minor injuries
  • Evaluate and manage chronic pediatric health conditions
  • Administer and monitor immunizations in accordance with AAP guidelines
  • Provide developmental, behavioral, and nutritional counseling
  • Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test results
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care
  • Collaborate with pediatricians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive health measures
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards
