As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, helping individuals and families stay healthy through preventive medicine, chronic disease management, wellness visits, and acute care. You'll manage your own patient panel while collaborating with experienced physicians and an outstanding clinical support team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous outpatient family medicine or primary care experience
  • Experience managing patients across all age groups
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments
  • Educate patients on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support excellent patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver coordinated care
