About The Position

Children’s Minnesota, Minneapolis Primary Care Clinic has an opening for a 0.8 FTE Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The Minneapolis clinic is a hospital-based pediatric primary care clinic offering outpatient services to a population of patients (infants through adolescents) from urban and suburban areas of the surrounding metro areas. Families receiving care in the clinic speak a variety of primary languages. The clinic provides a range of services, from well-child care to walk-in care, as well as educational and outreach programs. Providers care for children with complex medical and psychosocial issues, manage acute and chronic childhood illnesses, and provide parental guidance for childhood development and nutrition. We offer wrap-around services in our clinic, including Integrated Behavioral Health providers, interpreter services, a clinical pharmacist on-site, access to Adolescent Health and Gender health providers, along with resource navigators through a program called Community Connect. In the clinic, we see approximately 20,000 visits annually staffed by 9 physicians and 5 nurse practitioners.
